wasn't there some law or something that you have to show your license @ the front and back? i'm not sure, i read that somewhere about this guy got pulled over just for no display of license plate.. =/

but if i were to choose, license plate looks not bad @ that position

v.Rossi 06-03-2009 09:43 PM

this isn't alberta, you gotta have front and back plates.

mmmk 06-03-2009 09:45 PM

OP is asking if his car looks better with or without the front plate...not asking about legal questions
your csx looks fine with the plate, i'd say put the plate on!

side note: i got pulled over twice last summer for no front plates...i have it on now

tiger_handheld 06-03-2009 09:55 PM

Timpo 06-03-2009 10:09 PM

No plate.

Side note: bumper looks weird; same with the hood and lack of H badge. +1 on the projectors though.

With the plates.

The Olympics plate looks nice anyway.

dark0821 06-04-2009 08:11 AM

lookin good xD

!Aznboi128 06-04-2009 08:21 AM

plate on

don't be stupid

on a side note
go to a body shop and get ur CF hood aligned its sitting too low, and lose the halo headlight's too ricy. use blackhoused oem + tsx projectors retrofit

jlenko 06-04-2009 08:25 AM

Yeah, your bodywork looks like my Cavalier did stock... all over the place. The fitment isn't right...

Fix that... take the plate off and take some nice pics, find a good photographer on here... then put the plate on and leave it on... it's just not worth the $109 fine. Besides, if you have one thing illegal on the car to attract the cop's attention, how many more are they going to find?

hotjoint 06-04-2009 09:52 AM

plates

wasabisashimi 06-04-2009 10:00 AM

You think, but sorry you are misinformed. All vehicles sold in BC have to have a provision for mounting a front licence plate, as they are required by law - ICBC will issue two licence plates one goes in the front, one in the back. And I don't mean in the window - mounted on the front of the car.

Corvette comes with a plate mount.. unless it's an Alberta car :) Now whether the owner chooses to put it on (the dealer usually leaves it off, as it's an expensive car, so the decision is left to the owner)... that's another story. But if you can afford to buy a Vette you can probably easily afford the ticket too.
