Hiring: Painters

Large painting company looking for full time painters immediately.

- Location: Primarily Downtown Vancouver, other locations depending on employees transportation situation. Most immediate jobs within blocks of skytrain stations

- Position(s) available: Helpers, experienced painters, interior, exterior, basically we're looking for good people, so will consider any level of experience. Various projects on the go including highrises (interior and exterior), schools, commercial buildings, sports venues.

- Who we should address our cover letters to: Best way to get an interview is to call:

Tony
778-386-6033

During business hours is preferable.

- Full time, Monday to Friday, typical start time 7am

- variable pay rates depending on experience and tools, will negotiate during interview.

Minimum requirement is hard hat, hi-vis safety vest, safety glasses and steel toe boots (WCB requirements on all construction sites)

edit as of June 8th: got a crap load of calls for the helper positions and are currently full. However I'd imagine not all of them will work out, so anyone that is interested, maybe drop me a PM and I'll go down the list on a first come first serve basis

Still looking for experienced painters though. And not to be rude, but painting a few houses for yourselves and friends doesn't count

Are you guys willing to train someone with no experience? I'm just entering the full time work force. No tools, but I will get anything necessary. And I am a damn hard worker.

For someone who doesn't have any experience, it'd be a lot of grunt work for the first while, although right now there's so much to do you'd probably get more training than normal.
