Do you even have the proper SMSC in your message settings?

well doesnt the phone set it up automatically when u put ur sim in the phone? cuz ive switched a million phones with my rogers simcard and ive never had to manually enter any settings into the phone. but somehow this fido sim doesn't work with multiple phones.

Not always. Some SIMs have been prone to failing upon OTA from the network, so if you changed it at one point in time, this is what happens.

Just check the SMSC and that you're sending using GSM, not GPRS.

a friend of mine recently had that happened when she switched to her new phone, she thought it was the phone.

however when she called into fido, fido told her that her sim card was getting old and that it needed to be replaced. so she got a new one put it in and voila. maybe you might want to talk to the people at fido?

do u have the correct sms center number?
+17057969300 for Rogers, and +15149931123 for Fido.

i receiving works, but sending does not work for sure, il try to do the sms center number, but dunno if i can cuz its jdm fone, and its kinda pointless to do the proper set up on my phones. also ive checked its not her simhack thats causing the problem cuz ive used her hack on my sim and her phone and i can send sms fine.
