Every light works but the tail lights! Hey guys, glad to be a part of the forums! I decided to join on a whim, I wonder if anybody can help me with this weird lighting problem :) It's a 2002 Honda Civic and every light works except the tail lights! Soon as I switch on the headlights, nothing! Any ideas? Tell me it's an easy one! Thanks in advance, I posted this in the General Chassis, Lighting, Autobody, Structure Glass Tech as well. Edit: All fuses have been checked and are good. |
uhh...maybe both left/right light bulbs are burnt? :eek5: did you check it anyways? |

Give us some history on the vehicle. When did this start happening? Did both of them just DIE outta nowhere? Check contacts/bulb holder. Use a DVM and check to see if you're getting voltage coming from the contacts. If there is, something is funky with the contacts. If there isn't, check the wires. |
is it the brake light or the lights when you turn on the headlight that doesn't work? |
does your stereo work or did you have work done to your stereo recently? |
Take a voltmeter and just check for faulty connections. The heat last week might have done something to the wiring. |
damaged wire harness? |
could be a short in your wire somewhere |
