why do people name their kids Dick?
 

No offence to if anyone's name is Dick, but I wouldn't name my kids Dick just because there always be some kids who make fun of those names. So it could be an issue when they grow up and go to school and stuff.

Girls used to call me Dick in elementary school (nick name for Richard) and at first I fucken hated it but after a while I learned to turn it into flirting and it was all good.

But generally no one ever calls me Dick: first because I just don't respond to it, and second because my boss's name is Dick and it would be confusing.

why do chinese parents with the last name WANG name their kids harry...or anita, thats much worse

To set them up for emotional abuse. They know full well the effects of such actions. The chinese way is, kids must be thoroughly abused physically, spritually, emotionally, totally mindfucked, so they will become obedient and all become doctors and/or lawyers when grown up!

LOL i remember 4 years ago when I was in Gr8 this kid came from china halfway through the year, and my math teacher wanted to introduce him, she totally put him on the spot and said "hey everyone, we have a new student, his name is Harry Wang" and the whole class burst out laughing,

I've seen the name Manly Kao in a list of driver names for a Time Attack...And I remember watching the documentary a long time ago where a Chinese kid in elementary school wanted his Anglicized name to be Ring.

I know a guy call richard wang...we just called him dick wang, needless to say he doesn't really like the people who made fun of him, even to this day.
