HELP! Choppy scrolling with new video card.

Just got a sapphire hd3850 agp and after switch it from a 9600xt, moving windows around is so choppy and also when scrolling up or down on explorer. Video playback is ok. ive tried the driver that came with it, the one from ati, and the one from sapphire. all no go. dont know what else to do.

ive got .net framework 2.0. and just to make sure it was the video card, i reinstalled the 9600xt and it works fine. i hope its not a power problem because i just bought a 600w ocz gamexstream psu and i had the card hooked up with the pci power connector.

Sounds like might not be removing all the old nvidia drivers. Find some sort of driver cleaner and make sure every last remnant is gone, then install the ati stuff.
