Paying for the bill on the first date is a tricky one. Yes you look like a cheap ass if you dont but you also look like a wuss for doing it. If and when I get a feel that she's not gonna pay her half, I at least say.....I'll grab this one, you can get the next one (something along that line).

If you're not going to see her again, then for sure do not pay for the entire bill lol.

I do not view any man as a wuss if he chooses to pay for the bill. If he manages to put his card down before I can open up my wallet and get my money, I would be surprised since Im expecting to pay for what I ate but I woudln't be incredibly displeased. After an objection, if he still insists, then so be it.

i took my gf to dinner and a movie on our first date. we were young and didnt have much to do around town so i figured that be good enough. she loved it. we go to dinner/movie at least once a month now.. i think its like a ritual or something lol. spice it up though, otherwise its just dinner and a movie.. and dont put your "motha-fukn dick in a box" LOL.. if you must, use the pop corn bag.

1. Toys R Us is a good place to mess around in. That's a test I do actually. Thought not all the time.

It tells me if she's got that side that can be lighthearted and not too serious.

2. I think the real answer to the OP's question is: It's the time you spend, not where you spend it at. I've had successful dates on skytrains, busses, Toys R Us, Aberdeen, Metrotown, Stanley Park, and the list goes on. IF u 2 click, u 2 click. Planning it too much IMO just makes things too tense and the person not ready for random change.

3. Stop hatin on Physixx. I think his comments have been much needed in the R&G section of RS. I've seen so much of the one liners and the stick-it-up-her-bummers instead of actual HELPFUL advice. People here post to ask for help, wheteher indirectly or directly. As a COMMUNITY, we should do what we can to help a person, instead of judging or trying to be a witty smartass.

IMO, if u don't have anything helpful to say to the OP and the original issue, the

lol exactly, you should have seen her on our second date, it was halrious. we went out for icecream at the beach in whiterock, since shes all about her looks etc, she wore stilletos i think? anyways, we got to walking around and decided to head down that huge dock at the beach and her heel kept getting stuck in between all the planks! haha, i could not stop laughing the entire time. then it got cold and she refused to put on her jacket because it didnt "flow" with her outfit.. hahaha. she ended up with a fever the next day. damn women.
