my mom's sister is 60 and my g/f's sister is 32.

Now as same first names as my mom my moms first name is Susan and my g/f's name is Susanne. Still call her Sue tho.

I actually don't really think about the name think, really this thread brought it up. Honestly it's no big deal I;ve been with the g/f for 9 years and it's never bothered me.

same last name, who cares, they don't get used a whole lot. might want to double check you aren't somehow related though.

same name as the mom, not too bad as most people think of their mom as mom, and not as their moms name. sisters name would be weird though.

If you like that person, you will have to ignore the fact that you guys have the same last name if you really mind....

For those who answered no, have you confirmed that your mothers don't have the same last name too? A lot of people forget this and think that just because their last names are different then you're good to go, but don't forget your moms have maiden names too! :)

That being said, yes I would and have already dated someone with the same last name.

Having the same last name does NOT automatically make you incestuous.

Having different last names does NOT guarantee you're not incestuous.

The only weird one imo is your SO having the exact same name/nickname as a close family member..

There was a couple in England, last year, that found out they were actually long lost brother and sister TWINS

different name, different family, they don't even look alike.
They got together for a few years, fucked, married and etc.

Then they found out they were actually brother and sister through blood tests on routing checkups.
