kayceeee 06-17-2009 07:10 PM

I wanna get one from hk but too bad I need data

atrin 06-17-2009 08:42 PM

HK version doesn't use NAM 3g bands right?

I went to check out the phone also, I don't agree that it is too big. I was surprised as in the pictures and video it looks huge. Its a good size for what it is. Although I do have a Bold atm and that is pretty wide. My hands aren't huge though.

wahyinghung 06-17-2009 09:07 PM

^ Nope
Yeah and I can't live without the chinese language package on my phones anymore the 2 phone Iam using right now N95 nam + N96 Nam doesn't have it and I am getting all these weird text whenever someone sends me a sms in chinese........

clowe 06-17-2009 09:11 PM

Sweet, does the maps/A-GPS feature require a data plan or internet connection to function?

bcrdukes 06-17-2009 09:21 PM

It looks like those electronic translators HK/Korean/Japanese students use in lecture.

!Aznboi128 06-17-2009 09:37 PM

AVS_Racing 06-17-2009 09:50 PM

Just install uni-code fonts contains Chinese characters on your flash memory and you will be able to see all the Chinese characters in NAM version. No need to flash firmware.

I believe it was +Kardboard+ who told me and I had it installed on my E71 no problem.

jeff19 06-18-2009 08:28 PM

i dont get y they couldnt place the spacebar in the center =.= how hard could that have been .....

edit: nvm, realized that there would need to b a 4th row for that to happen

atrin 06-18-2009 09:39 PM

So how is the phone?

Build quality - screen, qwerty, the lock key I heard can be wobbly?
How is the emailing and communication wise, compared to BB? Push, ease of use, etc.
Battery life? Reception? Call quality, loudspeaker?

woob 06-18-2009 10:37 PM

My make or break factor would be the keyboard.

How is the build, how tactile are the keys. Is the spacebar placing THAT hard to get used to?

Ikkaku 06-19-2009 07:51 AM

whats with them listing every feature on the side of the phone? is it a new trend or something?

Simplex123 06-19-2009 10:32 AM

yeah, lol.
i thought it was only a korean thing since LG/Samsung always did that. but I guess not.

!Yaminashi 06-19-2009 10:36 AM

Soooo.. Are you going to post a review of the phone or what?
Or are you going to do what you did before, post what phone you have then disappear? :p

That hack only works on S60 3rd FP1 devices with a memory card slot. I tried it on an N96 and N85; no workee. Works great on my E71 and E51.
