But how about the side vent behind the door? Dodge Stealth doesn't seem to have those? Or did they?

the dodge stealth doesnt have vents, its as simple as slapping on body panels from the real JDM cars to make the NA version look like JDM ones. for example the talon/eclipse, the USDM type r vs JDM type R.

plus i dont think a real 3000GT can be imported yet? his is 1995, so to be able to import, it'll have to be year 2010.

THere are 3000GT in America. It was sold as Dodge stealth because there were no Mitsubishi dealerships in Canada back in the days.
A real USDM 3000GT can be imported all along.
There are quite a few 3000GT running around for years.
It looks exactly like a 3000GT except the Stealth wing.

He is definitely not my friend. he called out RX-8 as fugly and his V6 Camry as beautiful "sports" car because he's Camry can do 0-60 faster than rx8 and WRX.

When ppl question him if he even knows what a sports car means more than just 0-60 time and doubt that he ever drove a sports car, he replied he has a 3000GT.

gtr's 0-60 is faster than some super exotic cars, but that doesn't make it better than them.

stay away from 3000gt/stealths. Seen them come in all the time for slave cylinders.

2005 300C's, Magnum and Charger R/T's are now going for under $20,000. A few minor mod's and you can have them going under 6.

ok i may be wrong not being able to import them, but from the posts that guy makes, he seems like the ignorant type that doesnt back down when proven wrong, and also, he seems like the type that slaps on some crap parts and thinks his car is now god, thats y i believe his car is a dodge stealth with 3000GT body panels, and not an actual 3000GT.

just don't argue back with your friend.

arguing with dumb ppl only makes you look just as dumb!

honestly... if 0-60mph is the only thing that ppl look at, then the GTR dominates ~95% of all canadian cars.

i've only been in a rx-8 once for like maybe 15mins, so I can't really comment on which car is better. But I do believe rx-8 is better than the v6 camry, this is because it's rwd, and handles nicely around corners. IMO

sry.. no actual statistic to back my facts up

when his camry is faster than a msp3/cobaltss/srt-4/focus rs (if we had them) around a racetrack then I'll be impressed

he posted as

Again, He is NOT my friend.

But you are right. Shouldn't argue with dumb ppl like that.

The problem is, I test drove a Camry and ES350. They are perfect comfortable family cars that I give it to him. But he keeps on telling how superior his Camry is in every way especially 0-60 under 6 seconds ignoring all other facts is just annoying.

I started the thread because ppl here are all into cars. A lot of you are much better than me in words or can come up with good points to reply his ignorance. That's why I was calling for help.

It's really hard to tell if its a 3000GT or Dodge Stealth.
But either way his car is NOT the twin turbo which is nothing worth mentioning.
With 222hp, FWD and that heavy ass body his car is a pig. It's slow as f@ck.

As far as I remember, all V6 Camry's came with the 6sp auto. Unless he did a neutral drop, I don't see how he got such a big improvement.

Youtube shows a bunch of video's where people got the car down to a 6.1 second 0-60 mph. Hmmmm....
