My father was 88 years old when he passed away 7 years ago. He wanted the Canucks to win the cup before he died. If I have grandchildren, their kids might witness it.

I'm 29 so say the average age is 75, the Canucks basically have 46 years to win the cup.

BTW, just to clarify. Winning the cup is great and all, but watching great hockey is the fun part. Cheering for your home team, mocking the opponents, hoping for the best, etc. Having to say, "There's always next year."
I remember the year we almost made it. So close........... seventh game of the finals.

General Managers and owners come and go, but
the fans are always there........
The Canucks have a great history, we just don't have the cup yet. And that, I guess, hurts the most, because when we mock the Leafs, the Oilers, or most other teams we've come to hate. Their fans can always strike us down with, "At least we won the cup!"
