| Subtitles
i need them..i always have to rewind stuff to hear things again
for your typical .avi tv shows and movies
where's the best place to get them for free?
also, how do i make sure it'll sync with audio perfectly?
it'll be for Mediaplayer Classic/Winamp/Playstation 3
thanks

you have to make sure the srt file is done with the same ripper.
If you are getting a file that doesn't sync, some of the media players on the market can adjust the the timing delay. For example, Archos 5/7. (PS Archos 605/705 doesn't).
But getting from the same ripper is much easier.

divxsubtitles.net
i lost all the sites i used to go to, but these guys seem pretty big
theres different language subs for different rips etc of the same film... i suppose u could download any (rip) and re-wrap the subtitles to your version but that takes time (think its quick if u know how but i dont remember either)
