I've bought frozen dimsum from T&T in the past. It's decent, but nothing to write home about.

Gah Lok Dim Sum (Fraser in between King Ed and 26th or Ackroyd and #3 in Richmond by the Save-on-Foods). That's the only place I go to. The prices are so much cheaper compared to restaurants and cooking it at home isn't hard to do either.

I actually go to the same one as Frenchie. It's almost restaurant quality dim sum if you steam it right.

T&T is the best IMO. They have those frozen ones that you pop in the microwave for 2mins and its actually not that bad.

I actually find the microwave ones too small and just not the same.

A bit OT but my mom's friend makes the best fucking dumplings EVER! I kid you not!

She sells it too, my mom and a few of her friends buy it from her and they're amazing. She makes it a day before, freezes it and sells it. Way cheaper then T&T too!

If you guys are interested I can forward you her number(gotta ask my mom for it) or post up her menu-flyer if their are enough interests.

Gah Lok for sure and there's a place called Dim Sum World or something in Henderson mall that's pretty ok. Microwaved ones are a bit too dry...steamed ones are way better.

I don't remember the names, but there's a strip mall just south of Parker Place that makes good frozen dim sum. There's also a good place near the corner of Gore and Keefer in chinatown.

The one with the steam trays in the front selling ready to eat items? I think that's called 882 bakery.

Good to know. I haven't been there since last summer. Guess I'll stick to going to Richmond then.

Yeah Hons is good too. But there's a small noodle place @ Crystal Mall that sells awsome handmade frozen dimsum. Which is across from the bbt place on the first floor in the Market.
