67 cougar xr7. got a 289 in it, which has been taken apart, rebuilt and massaged with cams, intake, the usual top end work, electronic ignition and rear tail lights changed to electronic as well (the mechanical sequential box is just a pain). converted from manual drums all round to power and disks int he front using all new or rebuilt items, used the spindles from a disk brake cougar so its basically the same as the factory would do. when doing the engine everything was taken out and sandblasted and repainted, same deal with the engine, have pictures and receipts for everything. car is perfect for cruising, it isnt a race car or anything, but its a great cruiser to drive. no rust on the car, california car before we got it, very good condition, even has the original car of the year sticker on the window.
two things wrong with it, 1) has some damage to the passenger side, slight but not perfect 2)passenger side window crank has seized up (dont let little brothers idiots friends in classic cars) havent had time or bother to fix it.
