Damn, it fell over in one piece! Just like in that older movie Volcano. Always wondered if that would happen or if the building would break into a gazillion pieces. They are soooo lucky there wasn't another tower where this one fell!

Can you just imagine if you lived in one of the adjacent towers? I can see a whole bunch of families trying to move out real fast.

There are at set of similar towers in GZ. They built 'em all, and then the foundations shifted so all of the towers are at a slight tilt.

Bet someone paid off the geotechnical engineer to stamp the drawings in return for some "favours" at a local KTV bar. And this, boys and girls, is why we love Chinese-built stuff.

And yeah, that is some seriously short pile-driving. They look like they're only about 3m long!

it fell over because it was the only building that had a 4th floor labeled to it. everything else skips the #4, just like how westerners skip #13. if you're in a building and see a floor 13 on the elevator panel, you're fucked cause its going to fall over
