how to make corner light into signal?

Acura 1.7 EL - how to make corner light into signal?

how do i wire the corner light beside the headlights into a signal? and leave the bottom signal factory. basically when the headlights would turn on, the side marker light beside the headlights would turn on as normal. but if i signal, the side marker light would signal with the bottom signal.

would this work?

another forum user posted this, im not really understanding it, if it works, can someone make a easier drawing lol

that pretty awesome paint drawing you posted wouldn't work. well not the way you intend it to.

theoretically the corner would blink with the signal, but the corner would also stay on with the signal. i am not too sure but in reality i believe that both would just be on for like ever.

anyways inorder to make your corner a signal and keep the signal the way it is. you'd have to use a different bulb in the corner light, the dual filament kind, and then wire the 2nd prong of the bulb to the signal wire.

or you could find a plug that already is built for a dual filament bulb.
