I go to Yusaf Hair Studio on Cambie across from the liqour store.

The place is a slightly trendier place although not super high. The only reason I go there despite having a simple haircut that any $10 can do is because Kelly who some of you know from the place on Main and E 41st in that little plaza is now working here.

Hes great to talk to, confident in his skills, easy going, and the man cave is a pretty cool place all in all.

I love that they dont take appts, finally dont have to book a fucking week ahead to get my hair cut...

i know its has been mention before but i use to go to VCC dt for my cuts, my hair is quite hard to cut but most of i just ask for a tae yang mohawk style cut

Lovely Salon on Earles and Vanness. Parking isn't hard to find but it's hard to get into (at the back). The lady there (Molly) is extremely nice and patient plus she speaks English well. Location is nice and quiet and you can usually walk in without waiting unless it's a weekend morning. I always leave a $2 tip.

Been doing it myself for 20 years. I figure why pay someone to do a shitty job when I can do the same for free.

Because you can say that for a lot of things

i.e, car maintenance, house renovations, going out for food, etc
