Is it like a restaurant? 15% and up depending on how you like the cut?

Just remember, after a sub-par meal, you're no more than 8-10 hours from eating again. A shitty haircut will last 3+ weeks.

I tip $5 on a $17 cut/wash. Been going to the same place forever.

I just shave my head and face with a trimmer every three days, it's the best thing ever.

I've tried tons of cordless trimmers, by far the best has been this Braun Cruzer Beard trimmer, I have one for home and one for travel and both are still working great after nearly 2 years of use.

So, if you're looking for a good head/beard/pubes/whatever trimmer, try the Braun.

I gotta get my hair did, any quick suggestions in Richmond? I'm a white guy with a big beard and maybe ~2" head hair. Usually I just give myself a buzz cut or sometimes a short Mohawk. But I feel like changing it up and will let the barber just have fun with it (as long as he doesn't ruin the beard, it's been like 2 years).

Suggestions?

nvm

willing to spend $20-30 for cut, saw good reviews on man cave in this thread. anyone have other recommendations? salons and barbers dont matter.

I've tried Union Barbershop in Langley the last few times I've got my hair cut. Great little place with good music and conversation, not to mention you get a cold one while getting your hair cut.

For the people that cut their own hair:

what oil do you use for your clippers (so the razors don't seize up)

prefer to buy oil locally rather than online... unless someone wants to do a bulk order with me on Amazon lol

There is a new hairsyle in front of The Bay in Metrotown )2nd floor). Men cut is only like 12 dollars. My hair is always short anyways so I don't need some fancy hair stylist. And their cut isn't too bad and is quick.

Royal Oak Barbers is my go too. They have 3-4 guys there working , but ive already X'd one guy as his style just doesnt mesh with mine even when i explain how i want it. The other guys havent had any issues yet. cut is usually 15 and i give em a 20

$17 for a cut and wash? Where do you go?

Verdasco 11-28-2016 08:44 AM

$50 cut and wash for me

6o4__boi 11-28-2016 08:59 AM

I've been going to the same place for more than 10 years now
She's never asked me pay more...and she's always charged me $10 and i tipped $5
I've been paying $15 for cut and wash this entire time.

When she's away or I'm too lazy to drive out, I've gone to Great Clips and they've yet to screw it up for me.

I get my hair cut here as well! Its so nice to be able to reserve a time online and show up right at that time for a haircut. They also give you the hot towel treatment after, feels great. Feeling like i'm getting pampered everytime i'm there. They also have a pool table now which is great.

dark0821 01-08-2017 07:12 PM

lol honestly I just use the F10 at Crystal Mall... or Surrey Central...

Just $10 bucks and I uasually give $2.00 tip, quick and easy.

vafanculo 01-08-2017 10:51 PM

Namira hair design, on 3 road.

Haircut and eyebrow threading for $20 plus tip

dn53 01-09-2017 07:17 AM

I see my barber every 3-4 months and I cut my own sides every week. It's a slick back so it's pretty straight forward. I tried cutting the top a few times but it's really difficult to get it right. If you decide to start cutting your own hair make sure you own two sets of clippers. :lol it hasn't happened to me but my barber brought up a good point if one day I'm halfway through a cut and it craps out

I pay $30 for my cuts and washes
