Paramedics found Astley unconscious in his hotel room. He was rushed to Charité hospital and pronounced dead at 12:32 am, June 30th. The cause of death has not been confirmed.

Astley was in the middle of a concert tour that would end in late august of 2009. He was to return to the United Kingdom at that time.

I was expecting to be rick rolled on all the source pages. Can't take anything seriously nowadays, can anyone confirm if this is real? More importantly, what about people that paid for concert tickets? will they be given a refund? if so, what about the stadiums that host the concerts? how will they cope with the loss of revenue due to the death of this celebrity? in addition, suppose they have insurance, would this cause an increase in insurance rates for celebrity death liabilities? would this increase be substantial enough to affect the economy?

so is he really dead?

ok i just found out its just another 4chan prank. they attempted several celebrity deaths in the past. Michael jackson and the other deaths you see on tv are real though, which is pretty mean considering rick astley acknowledges 4chan and even wrote a pleasant article about 4chans creator, moot.
