Sorry to quote quite an old post but just wanted to share my diy belt that I made 2 years ago. I did it when I was in Taiwan and there was a street vender/artist who was selling and teaching you how to make your own leather goods. He had a few quality leather to choose from and me and my cousin spent a good 3 hours there to make our belts and chat with the dude. I didn't like the traditional round ends so I was like whatever I'll cut it slant and put a few studs here and there. Best $30 I spend on a belt. I love how it looks now and I'm sure it'll last me several years more easily. Here is how mine looks after wearing it EVERYDAY for 2+ years: (I should take one in daylight to show the "patina") http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7356/9...cf81af25_b.jpg Quote:

Been 2+ years since I purchased a pair of chinos from Cheap Monday... it was too baggy for me to wear back then (bought wrong size) and it finally fits now. Pinroll cuff + W+H black hightops are my new fave :D |

LOL was at work when I posted haha. I'll see if I can grab a pic next time I wear em =P |
Spoiler! Spoilered for size. Got them on sale. Forgot how fun and comfortable skate/streetwear is. Maybe just I'm getting old and losing interest in super fitted clothing. |

Need to get some new pants. Don't want jeans or dress pants, something in between. I guess I am looking for something business casual. Looking for something that isn't too expensive. Try some places like H&M, The bay, Zara and most of the time they either have cargo pants that's way too casual or is made out of material that gets really wrinkle. Any suggestions? |

less than $100?! I am sure there will be sales form time to time. Not looking for something trendly but more quality. I mostly wear Levis jeans if helps (mostly their 501s and 535s I think and their straight leg fit). |
^ chinos/khakis are the way to go!!! They look really good casually yet you can use them with button down shirts to get a "smart casual" look. Good with more formal jackets and boots as well. Much more formal and nicer than cargo pants (imo) and almost every store carries some variant of chinos. H&M, TopMan (just went today and they have various colours and fits), Gap all have them. Quality can be nice too depending on the brand or $$$ you're willing to spend. |
just got an email advertising some fall looks and ordered this cardigan http://images.neimanmarcus.com/ca/1/...NM-4NLG_ep.jpg edit: lol got trolled by nm they changed the picture |
