Has anyone purchased Viberg Service boots before? Comparison to Dayton boots?

Looking for something thats casual but not too "work wear" like, as I found the 1000 mile and the range of Red Wing boots too bulbuous for my taste.

I worked for them for a little bit as a model (lol..) so naturally I have a ton of their stuff. I quite like it, I've been a bike commuter whilst in Asia and Uni and they've been good in that I can do movements without feeling restricted. Downside is that the elasticity does wear out a bit and it becomes a bit saggy - I've been told to put them in the dryer and they'll tighten up. That being said, I've worn through the crotch on all my pairs - don't think I'll buy em for the 150? they sell for.

can anyone recommend a mid-heavy weight slim fitted plain zip up hoodie?

somewhat like of the burberry hoodie but not as pricey,
i thought of the uniqlo hoodie but read some reviews that it disintegrates after a couple washes :okay:

cant speak to the Viberg but the Dayton service boot has taken me FOREVER to work in.. my pair in nubuck is almost 2 years old now and only now are they super comfy to wear..

for a long time they were clunky and not really "uncomfortable" but they definately didnt feel at nice as my RW 877's

If i was to get another pair of Daytons i would take way more time in the initial and final fittings, because imo my boots were a bit too big

In terms of last, you probably won't find anything better that is more modern. The Oakstreet Boot Lakeshore last is comparable as well.
