Camping...

Me and a few budys are planing a camping trip in august but were not sure were to go. Some were close to a lake and with some 4xin close by would be nice. Any suggestions any were on the island?

It depends where you want to go. There are some great places out by Pie Lake/Rock Bay north of Campbell River where no one will bug you or you can do the family thing on one of the sites on the Campbell River itself.

Gordon Bay on Cowichan Lake is nice (government site, so good facilities), or if you dont mind driving on gravel roads, you could try Heather. I went there years ago, very nice http://www.cowichanlake.ca/tourism_heather_campsite.php
