maccha (green tea powder)

Anyone know where i can buy maccha green tea powder? My wife loves green tea so i'm hoping to make her a green tea cake. Green tea cake recipes would also be greatly appreciated!

depends on the type/quality you buy. i bought a 100g bag for about $20 i think which was considered a lower grade than the canned maccha. it had great aroma and was worth it.

You don't need the super high quality Gyokuro maccha for desserts. The cheaper stuff should be fine.

PS... "Maccha" is green tea, so there is no need to write "Maccha green tea," as that is just repeating the same thing.
