Saw this movie last night, and boy was I surprized (in a good way).

I love the different approach and storyline. Definately worth seeing

Plus, you just know there is going to be a second one...

I was highly impressed about it and happy one has been finally made in that style. I could actually see that happening as well.

we'll have to wait for the sequel to find out, I guess.

great movie, definitely not your typical summer sci-fi flick. Really enjoyed it.

Pretty cool movie, i really enjoyed it. If you blew your money on GI Joe and have lost faith in movies yet wish to regain that faith, watch this movie. There was a good development of the character and it really made you want to watch what would happen to him.

Just a disclaimer....if you get motion sickness easy, i suggest taking half a pill of gravel before watching the first half of the movie.

triplexcel 08-17-2009 02:04 PM

I had to leave halfway through the movie cause of motion sickness =(

cressydrift 08-17-2009 06:29 PM

^ So tempting to laugh at, must... hold.... back... urge.

I was very satisfied with this movie, even though i built it up for myself. I hate when they have to make sequels though... Just take my back account number and go nuts for F sakes.

I get motion sickness easily, and never felt dizzy once the whole movie. Were you sitting in the front row or something? This was nowhere near as bad as cloverfield and had quasi shakey cam esque mock documentary style for maybe 20-25 mins tops.

The other 3/4 of the film isnt in shakey cam style well not in my opinion at least.

I almost left too....the guy sitting next to me had on WAY to much aftershave..it made me almost gag...had to control my breathing to keep off the gut rot feeling...the first half of the movie didnt help my situation either..

Fuck, I just watched it at metro silvercity 7:25 screening.Fuck man, I went in at like 7:15 and no seats were left... I had to sit on the stairs... :( Anyways,it was alright, I would give it 7-8 / 10. Some shit just didn't make sense but 100% there will be a sequel and it will be like...district 9 vs humans lol
