FS: Centrino Duo Gateway Laptop

Got this Laptop about 2 years ago.

It is a Intel® Centrino® Duo mobile technology platform.
Gateway* MX6710 laptop powered by Intel's mobile dual-core processor featuring:

ATI* Mobility Radeon X1400 graphics
15.4” Widescreen Ultrabright display
DVD±RW Multi-Format Double Layer optical drive
100 GB hard drive
4-in-1 Digital Media Reader
1024 MB DDR2 Dual Channel Memory
802.11g wireless
Microsoft* Windows* XP Home Edition

There are some cons about this laptop. First, the battery won't hold a charge at all. I usually just plug it in and use it as a desktop or plug it into my tv and watch movies. Also, the right hinge that attaches the screen to the keyboard is broken, it doesn't really close perfectly. It overheats quite a bit and crashes quite often. I have one of those laptop fan/cooler thing that my laptop sits on and it NEVER overheats or crashes once I put it on there.

Sorry I won't be able to provide the fan since I am currently using it for my current laptop at the time. This is a great laptop regardless. Just need some fixing and tuning.

I think $280 is more than fair for a semi-working laptop.

Thanks for looking.
