Wow why are people so fuckin concerned about HIDS man ok so what if its bright u drive by them and u never see it again... worry about the idios that drive with their highbeams on for no reason or richmond drivers. Why doesnt anyone start arguements over Stock HIDS on TL's, S2K's and many more, their HIDS are so much brighter then aftermarket, maybe they should remove them and not BLIND EVERYONE ELSE. This is dumb let ppl do what they want... I fucking saw a Acura Legend the other day with HIDS powered by the sun and BLUE LEDS on top looked like a fuckin transformer, doesnt mean ima chase him down and tell him to fuck off and take that shit off because of how ILLEGAL it is.

I don't care how illegal your car is, pnp hid kits in reflector housing is plain annoying and dangerous. The glare is so bad I can't see any of the on coming traffic.

If you can't see anything, you should get your eyes checked out because you probably have bad night vision. A family member of mine suffers from this, and you know what? They did the responsible thing by getting corrective glasses and treatment, instead of getting brighter lights and blinding oncoming traffic. Yes you see better, but you make everyone else miserable and its very dangerous if you don't have projectors.

This seems rather pointless given the fact that no matter how pretty a job he does, how much time, money and effort he puts into it, or how much he beats himself up over it, it will still be illegal, and if a cop catches him and decides to enforce the law, he'll be forced to take the car off the road (or may have it taken for him) and it won't be allowed back on the road until the lighting is returned to stock.

It makes about as much sense as building a house in the middle of a railway crossing - no matter how much work you put into it, eventually a train WILL take it out, and you've wasted all that effort.

I understand what your saying, makes sense.
However, I think everyone on revscene knows that HID CAN be considered illegal. He just asked a simple question on fitment. But everyone started saying irrelevent things.

Glare or not, it's his choice. It's not even BAD as everyone says it is. 50%(my own opinion) of cars on the road have PnP HID's and a lot of them have just reflectors so..I think some of you people just have run into someone with OVERKILL systems.

And personally it's not as bad as huge ass trucks on regular halogens, those are killers.
Or hell even stock X5's are killer too.

If you want that HID look without blinding people you might wanna look into LED headlight bulbs. Light projection isn't great but they look cool.

^ thx guys i got that problem figured out already and to the shit disturbers i guess technically speaking cause were all being technical and all about laws, eye sight, illegal mods to our cars or what not maybe you guys need to start wearing protective eye wear so your cornea (is that a grammer/spelling mistake?) doesnt burn while driving. Since every 3rd car in this city has some sort of HIDs, Bright Fogs or bright lighting in general.

Dude no mean to piss you off or anything but as you know many people HATE illegal HIDs for blinding them at night. I mean we've all experienced it have we not? Its damn annoying. Yeah okay we all speed over 50 and do things we shouldnt do but the thing is just because other ppl have HID's doesnt mean its okay that you get em too. If you really wanted a proper set up. Buy some true housings and do a retrofit, yeah its illegal still but atleast its a proper housing and will reduce alot of the blinding problems. It'll cost more in the long run but then we go on and on how your just playing with fire. The way you're treating the subject is pretty immature, swearing left right and centre.
