Anyone buying these models? Have you had any problems with them?

We were having issues with the lock outputs. We no longer trust them to do a reverse polarity system, but everything else seems to be ok.

I'm curious since I don't really trust them either anymore.
For you, nothing with the siren triggering on arm or not fully disarming??

Hmm of the locks I've had one actuator seize up a few days after the install. It was being driven by the CM1000A, I'm wondering if it kept the actuator in the unlock position for too long.```

I do about 30 of them a month. I've never had an issue with door lock output or siren output.
Just sometimes with faulty remotes that don't always respond when you hit the button but thats rarely even happened.
For the most part, great alarm for the pricepoint.

I've installed a few of these models as well. There's one new 09 Express van that's reminding of early years.. |

only other issue i had was that the brain kept frying when I installed it into a grunman, but the alternator was pushing out 14v. I guess the transistors inside couldn't handle the voltage where as the cm4300/3300 brain could handle it without an issue

I just went through four of these in a 09 Express van. It was pure install hell, they were all exhibiting the same type of issues;
- siren triggering on arm while the shock sensor was plugged in(unplugging it caused it to arm properly)
- sometimes they wouldn't disarm fully, only one chirp and led flashing
- sometimes they would quit responding to remotes
In the end I replaced it with a 1WAM-A with the same wiring and it worked perfect.
