Thank you Rich... at least someone has a brain left around here. And thank you Lomac as well.

"Warped rotors" is a myth. You bunch of hypocrites all help to perpetuate it by continuing to spread the myth.

Here is a professional explanation: http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wp...akedisk.shtml#

Read and weep.

Don't believe it? Put one of your supposedly "warped rotors" on a lathe and see that you're wrong for yourself. I've done it. I didn't believe at first, but now I do. I was willing to admit I was wrong... and believe me, that takes a lot.

if u know how to work on the brakes. you can do a number of things.

1) take pads off and get some brake lubricant that quiets down the brakes, almost every automotive place carries these.

2) with a file rasp, take a little off the edge of the brake pads, like where the edge ism so instead of L____, u take a little off to make it \_____

and blast off any brake dust u can. its also a good time to lubricate the brake slider bolts since you have everything off. if ur handy, shouldnt take more than 15-20mins a side

if when u brake from decent speeds (50-100km/h) and your brake pedal shakes and pulsates, then ur rotors are most likely warped. it happens, the rotor gets hot, doesnt cool down right or even something like water splashing on them, will cause warping, eventually the metal rotor gets severe enough that u feel it in the brake pedal. get them inspected to see if they are still thick enough to be turned (machined, to a flat surface). you probably wont even be able to see that its warped.
