No c-lai proximity sensors?

Maybe if you had that, you wouldn't need all the shit inside that car. It must weigh about 7000lbs and get 7mpg.

And sadly, a C-lai will have one, as she t-bones you at 70km/h going through the Yaohan parking lot. Right before your death, you will remember this film, and how safe she will be as you come to your death.

Thank you Mercedes.

Kev

I was reading at a MB place in Germany that the old S-class (the model that Diana died in), and its predecessors, used to have no research budget - MB wanted it to be unparalleled.
After the whole Chrysler thing, a budget was put in place and thats when the S-class reliability issues went through the roof.

i bet replacing the braking bag would be half the cost of the car itself. imagine you just have a close call on the highway and the braking bag deploys anyways. that would be a $60,000 trip to the dealership and a whole lot of bitching

imagine you are a rich man driving a s-class with cool technology....is he smart enough to forget to buy insurance? is he going to forget he has a bunch of lawyer friends who are willing to take his case and sue MB or stupid c-lai?

oh wait, did I mention rich man who can afford s-class? okay...then keep imagining.

specs and price?

wow.. that's pretty intense... It's like substituting a car accident with a pillow fight.

I think volvo has put more money into their "safety" than mercedes. I think they had a 1 million dollar car they engineered a few years ago.

of course there will be some sort of laser face recognition system set up on the roof lining. It just deactivates the balls airbag when it detects that its a girl.
