1000 ftlb torques club

Since there was a thread regarding 1000bhp, lets have one to see who has the most torque.

This is going to take some time for someone with over 1000 ftlb total to come up.

Edit: I take that back. Quite a few already

I think a car with 1000 ft-lbs torque is extremely rare here.

I doubt the chassis could handle that much torque. Probably cracked every corner of the truck whenever he stepped on the peddle.......

Considering they come with like 600 lbs of torque and can tow like 20,000 lbs I dont think that would ever be an issue

bmw twin turbo 2.0L diesel makes 201 hp and 295 tq. pretty amazing, i think.
whats the 335d? 425 tq. damn.. with a shorter final drive, it'd be making same 0-60mph as the gas burner.

There are hundreds of models of cars and trucks some with 1000lbs of torque, hell my V8 Fiero makes 320lbs before it hits 2500rpms. Which is nearly double the OEM rating of 170lbs. The turbo I have in my garage came from a Detroit Diesel Tractor Trailer engine. If I install it, with any luck, I can get it A. downstream that heat won't be an issue, and B. have enough lag that WON'T spool until over 3500rpms. I actually wish I could lose some of my torque at low rpms. This is too far off topic, lets do the match

Mine
170 flbs 88 Pontiac Fiero V6
320 flbs 857 Pontiac Fiero V8

Wifes
300 86 Pontiac Fiero V8
170lbs 85 Pontiac Fiero V6

Ours
260lbs 96 Chevy Blazer 4wd 4.3 V6

If my math is right 1220 lbs.

None of this was with "power adders"

If you include the nitrous, which is not installed at the moment you can add 400lbs to the list between the 2 V8 Fieros.
