The formula always results in a number that is a multiple of 9. All the multiples of 9 on the grid are the same item. Item changes every new game. There you have it.

Any two-digit number minus the 2 single digits = 9 or multiples of 9.

Apparently if you click next and you mouse over that item. it reads that item. So I'm assuming if your mind is thinking about that item you will unconciously move your cursor to that box. Which then tells that "Genie" that it's your #.

EDIT: Okay NVM My first point was correct but it's still "reading" my mind. WTF...

And if u look at the multiples of 9s in the table, they are all the same item

No offense, but do you not know how to subtract or follow directions? ;)

Notice how 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90, 99 (ie all the multiples of 9) ALL have the same item?

Try 55. 55 - 5 - 5 = 45, which is on that list.
92 - 9 - 2 = 81, also on the list.

Just so you know, whenever you take ANY integer (no matter how big) and subtract all the digits from that number, you ALWAYS end up with a multiple of 9.
