what is the price range for an 07 right now? the bmw dealership has them for 52k which is bs. I thought they would go for 40k+ . With 2010 models coming in do you guys think the 07 one will drop to between 35-40k?

pick one up in the states for under 30k usd

godwin 07-28-2009 06:54 PM

US Warranty / Free service get nulled and voided once the car enters the Canadian database.

You can't get finance via BMW on a US one.

BMW CPO cars have double the warranty of even new BMWs.. so it is worth the price vs other dealerships' used 335i

If you can't afford to pay blackbook / street price.. I would suggest you go for a lesser model.

Don't buy a beaten up car and then complain BMW has bad reliability and maintenance is expensive.

.

Warranty still works..free service doesn't work in Canada.
Get ur facts straight.

godwin 07-28-2009 08:53 PM

That's only true for new cars (which dealers are not allowed to sell new to Canadians anyways).. for CPO / Used it no longer applies, you only get the balance of your existing warranty, don't be surprised if the dealer ask you to pay ahead for any major warranty fixes too.

However in the end, when you decide to import, the car will not do as well on resell.. so it makes all the resell price/ residuals in previous replies bunk.

I was reading the following when I was booking a service.

Q: Do all U.S. warranties and services still apply to vehicles imported to Canada?
A:No, vehicles imported from the U.S. are not eligible for certain services that would otherwise be available to the customer. The absence of such services can result in significant additional cost and inconvenience to the customer during ownership. The following outlines services affected through importation to Canada:

Yes for New Car Limited Warranty
Yes (Only via U.S. phone number) for Roadside Assistance
No for Certified Pre-Owned Program
No for BMW Assist
No for No-Charge Scheduled Maintenance Program

52k for a 07? richmond bmw quoted me a 09 335i for 49 w/o bargaining, forgot which package tho

Pumbaa 08-02-2009 01:18 PM

335 because its got two testis. IS doesnt.
The 335 feels bigger inside too, IS's smaller windows and higher door panel make you feel cramp inside. And if you get the moonroof package headroom will reduce by 1.5 inch ish.
Although IS seats are just pure awesome...comfy

Harvey Specter 08-02-2009 01:32 PM

The sport seats for the 3 series is a must.

blum2001 08-15-2009 11:59 AM

I just picked up my 09 335i last wednesday. Fully loaded with executive package, audiophile package, navigation package, m-sport package. Sports seats is probably my most fav thing about the car lol!

I test drove the IS350, A4, TL (just for kicks but its way too fugly for me), and the C350 and the 335i was in first place in my books.

Love it and don't regret choosing it over the others at all. Now I just gotta figure out how to use all the bells and whistles it came with lol.

dkvby 08-15-2009 12:50 PM

^chip it and instant 60+whp

Meowjin 08-15-2009 01:34 PM

beamers are retarded in canada

I think I'm seeing m3 convertibles go for 37k for a 2003-2004 up here while in the states they are 20-25k.

I'm going to be the first one to say it.

FUCKING FOBS.

Harvey Specter 08-15-2009 01:43 PM

Good time to pick up a E90 335i, most dealers are offering huge discounts. I've read and heard up to $10,000 off the sticker price.

um my buddy just bought a g37s fully loaded for 37k taxes in.

G37s > 328i.

AsBannedAsItGets 08-16-2009 02:17 PM

I'm going against the grain here.
I'd pick the Is350. Just prefer the looks.
I think the reason we have most of the people picking the 335 is because its turbo.
Everyone goes head over heals for turbo'd cars haha
