I was wondering if guys care at all about this? I always get a pedicure and all my ex-bfs have commented on it.
Recently i dated a guy who asked me why i wasted my time painting my nails because "guys dont give a shit about them"

is this true? what do you guys think?

It shows the person isn't a slob. Kind of like a guy shaving or keeping his hair tidy. I have seen some pretty gross womens feet though. Deformed due to wearing rediculous shoes all the time.

All in all if it makes you feel better about yourself then why not? Hell I used to give myself pedicures all the time.

Some of my friends really love when a girl has nice feet. Some guys don't really seem to care, but, I would assume if the girl had gross feet they probably would.

To me, nails on feet dont really matter much. They have to look decent and be kept nicely, but that is it. I dont really care. I dont think there is a point in spending $80+ on foot cream. just keep it tidy and presentable.

I don't care about either. Some people don't have the money to spend on getting manicures or pedicures.

I do tend to notice if a girl has pretty feet. IMO, nice looking feet, especially pedicured, adds to the "femininity" in a woman. Just like tits and ass. To me it doesn't have to be drop-dead-motherfuckin-gorgeous-make-me-cum-in-my-pants feet, but at least decent looking or better, and DEFINITELY well kept. My gf paints her toenails and fingernails from time to time and I definitely enjoy the look.:thumbsup:

on the contrary though, if a girl's feet are fugly then yeah that's a turn off XD haha

Your recent ex just isn't a foot guy and there's nothing wrong with that. To each his own. Though I'm sure no matter what, a guy's not gonna totally ignore his SO's feet (like refuse to give a foot massage etc.), unless he's a straight up pansy.

Yup, I'm a feet guy, so I prefer nice feet. I don't care if they'r painted or not, but I prefer them to be nice & tidy.

He might just take it for granted. I bet once you stop doing it he'll ask questions

Some girls feet are nasty though. They are all differnt lenghts and all black from wearing sandals all day long.

I think most ppl are born with ugly feet and it is rare to find someone who has nice hands and feet combo.

as a girl i like to keep my toes and nails well groomed. it's a personal choice and professional choice for my career.

as for the professional part, a couple years ago i heard at work that another company one day asked all their sales staff to take off their shoes to check on their grooming. the company wanted their sales to be groomed from head to toe, so for men it was : making sure to wear black socks and there were no holes in them. for the ladies: making sure their toes were well kept if they were to be wearing open toe shoes. i thought it was a great idea on what that employer did because he wanted all of his employees to be looking their best while doing their best.

some people may think it's a waste of money and time, but everyone likes to groom themselves in a different way. and having manicures/pedicures aren't just for ladies anymore! i've seen a lot men getting them done as well!

I'm a sucker for high heels and well kept feet. I love french nails the best, but painted toe nails are sexy to as it shows the girl cares about her personal appearence.
Plus, getting a pedicure is one of those indulgences you need to give yourself. It's like getting a massage. (no, not those AMP on CL you pervs, but a certified massuse)

as long as the second toe is not freakishly taller than the "big toe" then i'm fine...

if the girl is like that as well, it's a definite (+) for me. I like girls who have nice feet or hands and the "nails" just make it looks prettier. Doing your nails for your SO is hawt, looks good~keep at it...if the SO don't like it, then meh

I would like to compare well kept toes to nicely trimmed bushes.
If the chick knows she is going to be at beach and will be wearing a swim suit or skimpy bikini, she should make sure she doesn't have excess hair protruding out. Same thing goes for pit bush.

If she can't take the time to keep her feet nice, no excess hair under her arms/bush or facial hair, then to me that means something about her personality that I might not be interested in.

I don't personally care at all, I asked the g/f the other day when the last time she painted her nails and she couldn't remember.

every part of the female body should be as well groomed as possible. That is their duty to us men, period.

a person should not spend 0 dollars nor 100+ dollars on personal grooming.

hands and feet must both be presentable without much effort.
