how is this a timpost?
Not rice enough...
Actually a decent car

AAnthony 07-28-2009 10:43 PM

with over 650 hp and torque you can't call this thing rice.....if it wasn't for the 2 tone i'd say the owner was going for a sleeper look. I've seen nicer supra's but i don't hate this one......but this has some pretty illegal shit on it, such as the hidden license plate, and the shaved handles.

BNR32_Coupe 07-28-2009 10:43 PM

that engine bay is too nice

Marco911 07-28-2009 10:59 PM

I love how people modify their sports cars to "improve" performance, and then add hundreds of lbs of useless stereo equipment that is going to destroy handling.

JSALES 07-28-2009 11:00 PM

just needs a new paint job, that's all

I don't think anything more than going down a flat straight piece of road is in his mind at all.

124Y 07-28-2009 11:23 PM

This is definitely a nice car except for the paint job...

Some people like more HP, some like more dB, some like both.

TOPEC 07-28-2009 11:30 PM

seeing the engine bay pics first, ur like oooo, then seeing the exterior, ur like ewwwwwwwwwwwww

silk 07-28-2009 11:31 PM

come on, you're not Timpo, stop acting like one
go back to your Apple Daily News

ajax 07-29-2009 12:48 AM

thats one huge turbo! if only it was purple and green and HULK!!!!

G-spec 07-29-2009 01:08 AM

come on man, if you're gonna post a Supra, you can do a helluva lot better than that, and 700hp isnt talkin to me at all...you get 500whp from basic bolt ons alone with that car.... 4 digits single turbo is what a modded Supra is all about..

^ uhh thats not even a single turbo

ShanghaiKid 07-29-2009 01:55 AM

^^ love those flared fenders, ultra wide aggressive stance

thumper 07-29-2009 06:09 AM

wow... even with all that horsepower, it dosen't make up for the fact how ugly the color choices are on that car.

it would have been better if everything were transfered over to jasons2000's supra instead

Pretz 07-29-2009 06:48 AM

Much better.

first supra not feeling the color two tone paint job. oem steering wheel looks rather....fugly?

2nd supra is sick tho, god damn.

1000hp +
700 pounds of torque

sick

some_punk 07-29-2009 08:15 AM

Dont see why so many people like to cut the timing covers to show the cam sprockets. I would be pretty pissed if a pebble or something got caught in there. Cutting a timing cover like that is a pretty dumbass thing to do.

!SG 07-29-2009 08:29 AM

the added weight of the stereo equipment should bring it closer to 50/50 weight.

i always thought it was for easy of adjusting of the cams. if im right, that bottom part that is blocking off the lower cam sprockets, comes off with a few hex bolt screws. the top part that would normally be covering the cam sprocket would be a part of the valve cover.

stock supra steering wheel. haha, your not the first one to think it looks ugly. a lot of ppl swap over the 3 spoke steering wheel off other lexus/toyota's.

there was a video floating around with supra's pushing 1700+hp off built 2jz's. not very daily drivable but much bragging rights to be able to do something like that.

lol what a weird camera mount

G-spec 07-29-2009 11:18 AM

yes I know the Supra I posted is twin turbo, the owner wanted to make it streetable so he stuck with twins. I would hate to be trying to merge on Knight street bridge and then have the boost of a single turbo kick in and spin me right off the bridge into the fraser river
worlds fastest Supras are all pretty much single turbos though

here's a video I posted here on RS few months ago in another Supra thread, this is a record holder. It's a 6 speed manual by the way, how gangster is that. The driver must be really REALLY good to pull off such a good 1/4 mile time.... and check the massive wheel spin in almost every gear on the mile run
