Ok so i still love using my n95 (apps etc)

and i decided to update it to the latest firmware...


soo i went thru the usual process installed the firmware, yay

then im like "woaaah waitaminute!" i forgot to backup my phone!! -_-
i usually remember since nokias software usually prompts me to backup

(but i formated my laptop so i had to download the latest programs again and for some reason it didnt prompt me)


ohhh no what now? i cant find my backed up programs... !! after a long search through my files i find them!
i also went to .sis but couldnt find all the apps i had


anyway time to reinstall the apps.... ohhh what i gotta rehack my phone? greeeat ok not too much of a problem i still have the binpda secman etc files here

oh what.... secman trk carbide hack doesnt work cuz of the firmware

greeat ok lets look for the latest... oh?! wtf gotta use helloox??
omg i gotta sign the file first.... -_- screw this lets find another way

ohh a secman work around for the newer firmware?! ok lets try it......... @(*&!^$ wasted time


ok lets go back to helloox and the freesign app... oh whut? i gotta register on a chinese site and enter my imei eetc etc and wait for the cer files?

wait a minute .... whats going on its not working right... (why didnt i pay attention more to learning chinese characters) ok google translate........

gotta wait up to 24hrs for the files?!!!

Man that sucks, I remember fucking up my n95 because I didn't back up files. Hahaha but I didn't spend all that itme getting my files back

well now that im fully awake again


i just remmebered i had a few girls' #s on the phone that i dont have elsewhere

and for some reason it keeps trying to install programs on its own and fails.. but has since drained the battery



ah well maybe ill just wipe it and sell it now

i hated the wrong app have to signed thing with nokia.

no matter how much I hack it the phone UI still looks horrid to me and the home screen looks terrible unless you have no wallpaper.

lol so here i am i decided to erase my phone and prepare it for sale... and the battery cover is broken god


i think my n97 is secretly a transformer and destroying my old phones when im asleep

well at least i have a backup housing


threezero- i actually like the ui especially after changing the font adding a custom theme and icons.. it looks great but sigh -_-

Ok, anyone have any idea why my n95's screen won't rotate?

when i slide the screen over it just stays vertical... i have it set to automatic -_-

i dont want to sell it to someone if its not working right


edit: well i found it still switches to landscape but not always.... rarely it switches right away and usually it doesnt switch at all.... and sometimes it takes like 10-20 seconds to make the switch

Considering you recently flashed it, it may not have flashed properly, aka. you need to do it again.
