Warning: Shady guy in Richmond testing door locks

I know it should be common knowledge to lock your car doors etc, but I saw a guy going from house to house testing car locks to steal whatever. It has happened to a couple people I know including my mom and gf. Especially with the heat, some ppl are leaving their windows open a bit so be careful!

Just remember to double check you and your family's locks before going to bed!

FYI - I saw him around the Steveston/London area

Thanks for the info.

Did you call into RCMP with a description of the guy?

JHatta 07-29-2009 10:03 AM

you can pretty much rest assured that they didn't - but kudos for you for at least trying (cops really seem to be lacking these days)

If he touches my car, I'll give him Surprise Buttsex..... That'll teach him....

matter 07-29-2009 10:41 AM

Honestly the cops cant do much unless they catch him in the act, and they definitely are going to be driving around looking for a guy on a bike. I wish i had the time to stay up all night to wait for this idiot because I'm sure he will be by again.

Seeing my mom's car with the doors and trunk all open pisses me off, at least they had the decency not to damage anything or steal my nieces car seat or toys.

hotjoint 07-29-2009 10:43 AM

damn theive, they deserve a nice beat down

Chairman Kaga 07-29-2009 10:51 AM

specifically which streets?

kristianhay 07-29-2009 11:33 AM

Ah, I think this is the dude that stole some change and shit from my parents cars. They accidently left them unlocked over night and a satellite radio, change and stuff got stolen. Happened to some other people on my street as well. This was near 1 Rd and Francis.

On Williams between gilbert and railway..I saw him go into Deagle in that neighbourhood

Not really racist! 07-29-2009 12:14 PM

wonder if this is the same guy that jacked my cousins shades..

matter 07-29-2009 12:27 PM

During Christmas, I dropped off my gf at her house and went in for a few min max 10. I left my door unlocked and when I came out, it was open and so was my gf's car in the garage. She has a long driveway and the garage is behind the house, so this guy is pretty ballsy....

I was so pissed, I walked and drove half an hour in the snow following his footprints in the fresh snow...footprints led up to pretty much every car in the neighborhood....never saw him that time though.. I had it all planned out, I was gonna scare him with my snow shovel and take his pants and shoes...

SolidPenguin 07-29-2009 12:49 PM

Prob same bum that broke into my friends backyard. She lives on Williams.

And i may have saw him yesterday when i was walking her dog with her. Shady looking guy on a bike near the Errington area too.

Ima keep my baton near me.

Sry 'bout that.

Fafine 07-29-2009 03:45 PM

last summer after my buddy parked his car infront of his house on the street, a bum approached his car and tried to open the door behind shotgun while my buddy was sitting in the car. luckily my buddy is a pretty cautious guy and locks his doors everytime he gets into a car. the bum notice the door was locked and ran away, then my buddy called the cops and the cops arrived in mins and took a description. we're not sure if the cops did anything... but the next night when i was dropping the same buddy off we saw cops patroling the neighborhood and shinning their bright ass light around.

Mercy 07-29-2009 05:25 PM

Mr.JDM 07-29-2009 05:44 PM

hyek 07-29-2009 05:45 PM
