I'm just saying there are people in other parts of the world who deal with worse heat all year round. If we get it for a few weeks, where's the point in bitching? Hell, I bet half the people whining about the heat right now are more than willing to shell out a few grand to go sit in this kind of heat in Mexico during the winter.

it's still over 30C inside my place right now at 10:30. I've slept fine all week. boxers and no sheets / bedding on top.

a fan pointed at my head and turning the computer off saved me from sweating 3 bucketloads a night. temp got higher and i stayed cooler. fuck squamish and it's insane heat. also, thanks mom for buying me a fan. I couldn't have gotten one myself.....

Maybe it's okay when you're doing activities outdoors but being indoors and trying to sleep sucks. At least during winter you can just put more clothes on if it's cold and everyone has heat -_-;;

Woke up like every hour last night even with a fan. Then decided I should go for a cruise at 3 am, that brought a smile to my face:)

Take a cold shower/cold bath.
Eat a lot of freezies.
Clothes off.
Fan on.
Window open.

my room doesnt usually get too too hot because theres no direct sunlight (window facing north) i sleep with window wide open, just underwear, and no blanket(but blanket is always used when i wake up, meaning it gets cold in my room)

If that happens to me again I'm taking your advice. My car is AC'd up and even though it's a hyundai, has pretty damn strong AC. a 3am criuse to nowhere might put me to sleep.

I have AC in a few rooms but fuck when I open my bedroom door in the morning, the heat from the hallway hits my face like I just walked into an oven. Its worst feeling ever.

it feels like there's AC in my house since the plants outside my living room window was just watered

after this summer is over, vancouver ppl will be so equipped to deal with heat. half the houses will be sporting AC

i don't think it's really worth buying AC. it rains most of the time throughout the year and you only have to deal with the heat for a few months

you get pinkeye, I don't even notice the heat with the shit i'm dealing with right now.

yea, people hold out year after year but the last few summers a/c units everywhere has been sold out. eventually most ppl will have it, and this summer's heat might have sealed the deal for a lot of ppl who were on the fence.

It's cooling down a bit right now, I have my fan on and my room isn't as hot as earlier today or last night.

Its nice outside, go grab the sleeping bag and sleep on your deck or lawn.

Sleep in the lviing room next to the banlocy with the balcony doors open and 3 fans blowing at me =D.

Also it helps to take a cold shower before u sleep.

I also came to th office early and leave work late coz th A/C is right above my head.

I sleep up a large pile of money with many beautiful women.

I use a wet towel that i put on my back, does the trick...
Also have been waking up 3 hours earlier than normal becuase it's so hot in the morning.

The temperature is so hot that I have given up sex... it's just impossible!
