i used to feel your pain, but way worse. i work graveyards and sleep during the day. you think it's bad at night, try sleeping when it's 30+ out.

but then i got ac and i sleep like a chilly baby with my blanket.

Slept in the basement, I was freezing when I woke this morning.

cool ur blanket and ur pillow in a fridge before u sleep and put ice infront and behind ur fans

I heard one of the best options is a ceiling fan... Keeps the air circulating but only drops to a certain temperature...

i have two fans pumping my bed with my window open and the door to my bedroom open so we can circulate the air...it was effing cold :)

ac and fans ftl for people who wear contacts like myself..but i love this weather.

Just do what I do, go hang out at The 5 where they always have the ac at full blast, see some boobies and drink lots of alcohol, go home and u'll pass right out.

One of the girls I'm seeing, puts her bed sheets in the freezer during the day and takes them out at night, such a good feeling sleeping on cool bedsheets when its so hot.

Wednesday night was the absolute worst. I got an air conditioner just for my son's room and I couldn't fall asleep in his rocking chair, or on the floor, so I went back to my room and tried to sleep. Didn't really succeed. Thinking back, my wife & I are idiots for suffering in our own room while the son's room was nice & cool...

Last night, I slept on his floor again. When the rest of the house had cooled down a bit, I went back to my own bed. My back was sore from sleeping on the floor for a few hours - guess this is what happens when you're old.

to keep you house cooler. open 1 upstairs window and have a fan blowing OUTSIDE. open another window (downstairs for max effectiveness) at the opposite end of the house.

works just like cooling a PC i shit you not.

drink enuff alcohol, u'll pass out eventually. Esp if ur out in the sun drinkin it. Although do this all week and u'll feel like ass come friday (still gotta get up for work), like i do. But fkit, weekends here now + cooler temps = Chillin like a villian.

AC was never needed in the 90s. None of those apartments /house built in the 90s and earlier 00s have space for wall mount / split mount AC. Most stratas I know even prohibited tenants to install AC for noise and building appearance reasons.

Let's say I want an AC (not portable one) unit in my suite...how do you deal with it?

6 beers, cold shower, fan in my room, sleep in nothing but boxers. i usually end up sleeping like a baby after all that.
