I have to travel a lot for work as well, and I can honestly say most hotel WiFi is garbage. So its pretty normal. I prefer wired in Hotels.

The secret to that is, you carry along a small G-router of your own... plug it into the hotel wired 'net and create your own wireless. Added bonus: your own firewall protecting you from the h4x0r like me in the next room

This is very common as I've found. When we find a hotel with shitty net we switch hotels lol. When your there for a month its the little things like that that make a big difference in where we want to stay.

What worse though is ones where you have to enter a password in order to engage the internet because you can't use xbox live due to you not being able to turn the net on. If anyone knows how to do this please let me know lol.

Berz out.

That's not a bad idea, but WiFi is not really a priority for me. I can work/surf while I'm at a desk. Its the locations that have WiFi only, and the signal is non-existant!
