I am disappointed none of the TVs nowaday come with a DVI port.

well dvi = hdmi and most videocards come with hdmi adapters nowadays

They may not be the same but they offer the exact same quality image wise. The only difference is that DVI does not carry audio while HDMI does. They both use the same encoding scheme which is why you don't need a converter box when you hook up a DVI source to an HDMI monitor with a DVI/HDMI cable.

pioneer & panasonic have always been the shit (considering they're partners) and with Pioneer leaving the TV market its no doubt Panasonic would be the shit


dvi->hdmi cable is just as good as hdmi->hdmi when speaking of image quality (cant compare audio since as said above dvi doesnt carry audio)
