I found furniture shopping kind of tough actually...not because of the prices but because of the fact that I am super picky because I want something that looks and feels great and something that nobody has.
For modern furniture I recommend Inspiration/BoConcepts near Granville Island. There is also Home Delights in Coquitlam, Noble Furniture in Richmond and Vancouver and Euro Furniture which is in the old Storeum in Gastown - its super expensive but has some crazy nice stuff.
I avoid the Brick because their stuff is just soooo traditional and 'blah'.
^^ $2000 including delivery and taxes.
I negotiated and managed to get the delivery and $200 off of the two pieces. If they didn't budge on the price I would have bought them anyways.
