it's funny how few people realize that it's Kim and North Korea that got the last laugh, and not Bill Clinton, nor the US of A for that matter.

Sure, Bill Clinton may be naturally charismatic and able to talk his way out of things--that's a known fact (or an urban myth). But what harm can two American journalists really do to tarnish North Korea's reputation? They've given the mind-your-own-fucking-business speech for everything else too.

There's a reason why North Korea told Al Gore to stfu and gtfo when he tried to negotiate, but openly welcomed Clinton. On a diplomatic scale, Al Gore neither has the integrity nor the reputation to represent the Obama Foundation nor any part of the US government.

Clinton on the other hand, is taken by North Korea as the closest thing they can get from a private visit from the head of State in the US.
All this meaning for the price of two journalists that wasn't even in the least of diplomatic concerns for North Korea, they were acknowledged by the US of A.

but come to think about that...he claims this is a private visit, so you don't see much
security around him. I'd piss my pant if I were him being sent there to negotiate without
knowing Kim's card. You never know what tactic Kim will pull.

I wonder what did US offer Kim to release those chicks.
"two ugly asian chicks"? dude, have some compassion. those two reporters were going to go through 12 years of harsh labour camp if Bill Clinton didn't come in to save the day.

as far as what the USA offered to N.Korea, all I read was that official apologies were made by the two reporters, their families and by the US government. I don't know if any "gifts" or donations were given, but I'm sure those are kept secret at the moment.

Being an ex-President means he still gets Secret Service no matter where he goes,He still knows State secrets .Even if you didn't see them they were there somewhere
