yup yup, now just need 86 stripes along the side :haha:

hk20000 08-07-2009 09:45 AM

dunno why but the more I look at the pics the more I think the factory rims are dope....

it's like telling people that you don't mess around. It's mint.

ilvtofu 08-07-2009 10:04 AM

^err.... those rims are embarassing IMO i get laughed at for having them on, they're in stellar condition so if you wanna buy them ;)
The old bridgestone potenzas are actually new and still have that red line going down the middle, and the high profile means it's never been curbed in the last 22 years

This probably gives a better idea of the rear wheels, i think a one inch to one and 1/4 inch should do the trick for the back

SpuGen 08-07-2009 07:23 PM

With the money spent on that, you could've bought something nicer off Zilvia.
No tires, but hotter wheels with better sizing.

ilvtofu 08-07-2009 07:28 PM

Link?

BTW do u still have those shiro springs?

hmm the wheels were cheaper than the tires lol

It was hard to find something to work because the original wheels were 6.5" with a 20 offset FML...
But right now it already sticks out the same as before so i don't mind

SpuGen 08-07-2009 07:54 PM

Just google zilvia

Yeah I still have those Shiros.

17x8+5 and 17x9+12's look tiny on my friends Z31.
So if you're looking, go for 9/10's

ilvtofu 08-07-2009 07:59 PM

I can't find ne wheels on that site :(

really 17x9 +12 I didn't even know that'd fit Is it way out to the edge?
Has his car been lowered?

I know what you mean, the fronts look good, but theres tons of room in the rear
Damn i wanna lower mine, $360 for shocks and i don't know about springs but still $$$

twitchyzero 08-07-2009 08:01 PM

dont sale the car yet..it looks soo mint for its age.

ilvtofu 08-07-2009 08:06 PM

Hmm theres some rust behind the rear wheel like typical cars of this age, but it can prolly be fixed easily,
Exteriorwise it is pretty mint
but mechanically not so much, Engine is great but transmission is...
I'm afraid to do any hard launches etc. even though the engine has the power to,

ilvtofu 08-08-2009 09:24 AM

Yeah, i should probably wait till it gets roughed up a bit, it would sell for around the same LOL its too old, but too new to get collectors :(

alex.w *// 08-08-2009 08:35 PM

price price price?

ilvtofu 08-08-2009 09:27 PM

^Price of the wheels and tires? $1000 at sora't in north van, they're an RS sponsor  gave me some 5mm spacers, and sprayed my calibers and hub black just because it didn't look right, excellent service overall and great deal IMO considering volco sells these tires for like >$600

ilvtofu 08-08-2009 10:35 PM
