heres my quick 2cents....

1. eye contact
2. smile...dont be creepy.
3. approach without the creepiness.
4. small talk - hows your day/evening so far... etc.

small talk isnt always good. just cause if the girl is anything over a 5 she probably gets that everyday. Not that I have a better alternative, but its not the best way to stand out in a crowd.

talk to them like you would talk to guys, who cares, you're not trying to impress them, they sometimes have nothing to say as well, they're exactly like you. They're just humans.

unless you are trying to impress them, then you have to get a job that pays a lot, or stand out from other guys in a good way or go get a nice body, or all 3. LOL

Op's question is ......."how to talk to girls".......this is how i talk to girls and it yeilds good results. If you don't start with small talk, how are you suppose to get to know her? I think its not about standing out but rather having the guts to aproach, and the method of aproaching imho...

Small talk is a great feeler to determine how receptive an individual may be.

Just because a conversation gets shot down doesn't mean it's any flaw to the person initiating. It could very well be that the other person is having a bad day, mentally pre-occuppied, shy, has a bf, whatever.

i didnt say small talk isnt good. i said small talk isnt always good. i used a qualifier to avoid making a blanket statement specifically. what you may think is interesting, the other person may find boring and sometimes its the fastest way to get someone to think you are uninteresting, or at least as boring as everyone else in the room.

Try this for small talk: "Did you know Revscene's population is 97% male?"

If she gives you a WTF look, walk away.

But make sure you're shaking your head at her as you walk away..
