| The Nokia N900/RX-51 Thread
Boy Genius says that this is NOT just a tablet, but Nokia's first Maemo 5-powered smartphone.
D: http://jkkmobile.blogspot.com/2009/0...s-goodies.html - Quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE, tri-band WCDMA (850/1700/2100)
- Bluetooth + EDR
- Wi-Fi
- FM Transmitter
- Slide-out QWERTY keypad
- Nokia BL-5J 1320 mAh battery
http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2009/...y-for-maemo-5/
All our N97s are now obsolete. T__T This is likely heading for T-Mobile USA (hence the tri-band 3G).

No, the one in the N97 thread is a different one and a lower Nseries model.

Oh, this is gonna suck.
WCDMA at 1900Mhz? That's supposedly second carrier to UMTS on Rogers/Fido for speech. 850Mhz will be reserved for data.

This runs on AWS 3G, so T-Mobile USA and maybe Globalive, Vidéotron? As with any other leaked handset, until the manufacturer/carrier officially announces it, no one really knows the release date.

Looks sweet. I've used both the N800 and the N810. I dunno about holding something so large to use as a cel phone though.
