yes sir.

its an 05 evo 8. its yellow.

its exterior isnt that bad. but with your work it could be better. i could show it to you but its currently off the road right now.

imo, a macro lens might be overkill for his purposes. unless you need to show a <1cm spot on the car in amazing microscopic detail

What product do you use on it? Maybe the product has fillers in it, and after a few washes, the fillers are gone, and scratches are back?

the vw is my first german car. everything i've owned before has been japanese and the clearcoats are soft enough that i could buff almost anything out by hand using cdn tire stuff like mother's pre-wax cleaner, etc... but what i have now :cry:

not sure. i have a porter cable at home that's been sitting there for the better part of a year now... i haven't been able to use it because it's been difficult to find someone who will lend me covered parking that has power so that i don't have to do this out on the street.

ken is saying to at least try using Menzerna power finish first... but i'm not sure which one and if i have all the pads i need.

Power finish is a polish itself, I dont believe there are variants

You're probably thinking of menzerna intensive polish and variants
But give power finish a shot, its great stuff

Start with a white pad, then work your way up if need be

The price will change depending on what the car needs. If you need less work, the price will drop. :thumbsup:
