WRONG. 1.8Mil USD. About 1.95Mil CAD

Edit: They've also just released the Cinque Roadster.

taylor192 08-12-2009 08:59 AM

How much do you wanna bet none of the cars have ever seen a track?

Really? I saw a newer zonda selling at carpro in hk for around 16 mil HKD which when you convert to CAD is over 2.2mil

Even an older used one was selling for 12 mil which is over 1.6CAD

I think it might be the taxes in HK

and yeah the supercar crowd in HK are quite adamant about going to the track, at least the ferrari guys are.

Driving 60 down the street and the gauge being so far to the beginning, i'd go nuts.

skyxx 08-12-2009 11:46 AM

Hmm oddly the Cinque looks better in these pictures than in the Promo pics...lol Damn, i guess I have re-evaluate how it looks like person. But, I still prefer the Zonda F over it because it looks more clean.

shenmecar 08-12-2009 11:53 AM

are those zondas imported from another country? One is RHD and other is LHD.

Hmm the Cinque is LHD...
But the cinque was the request of some rich guy in HK so i wonder why they'd make them LHD considering theres only 5 in the world...

124Y 08-12-2009 07:35 PM

Wow... so much carbon fiber!! :D

hk20000 08-12-2009 08:11 PM

They shouldn't have to pay tax the cars are not registered vehicles in HK I think...they just roll around on T plates....which means the cars are not registered.

Registering a 5.7L super car in HK is the true ballin' thing to do. The car's price sounds reasonable when you ask about how much tax government is going to rape you when you register that.

EDIT: looks like one of them is actually registered. OMGWTFBBQ~ That's balling!

asian_XL 08-12-2009 08:22 PM

2.2mil cdn is nothing for the tru ballers in hk...

people re-sell their luxury apartment probably make more than that.

only poor ppl give a fuck about the yearly displacement license fee.....:haha:
seriously, how much more is it for a 4.5L+ license fee compare to a 1.5L?? i seriously don't care, its not a lot of money anyways

ilvtofu 08-12-2009 10:15 PM

^of course you wouldn't hyde, you're baller...
But i know what u mean, if you can afford something with that displacement, the insurance premium won't be significant

then he doesn't have to pay additional 10m tax to register the car in hk. since LHD cars can not be registered. all new RHD cars must be registered now.

btw, the new regulation on T-plate use changed already. you need to apply before you can use your T-plate on a LHD car and it cost around $10k for each application.

when ppl bring up displacement in hk.... its the yearly license fee that they are concern about. you don't know how many ppl have been telling me to buy a Golf GT over the GTI or R20 thats coming up and tell me its a better deal and I don't have to pay the 1.5-2.5L bracket license fee.

and first time registration tax in HK have NOTHING to do with displacement.
