FS: 1993 Mazda RX7 (USDM)

I am putting my 1993 Mazda RX7 FD up for sale. It is a VR Touring edition (red).

USDM (**NOT** RHD)

Sunroof
BOSE sound system
Pioneer Head Unit
5 speed (obviously)

I have put a lot of work into this car and unfortunately am again running short on money and need to pay off some debts.

There is A LOT of $$ into this project. The one BIG downer is the fact that it needs a new shortblock. I bought a used JDM block (big mistake) and it turned out to be blown.

The car currently RUNS and can be driven to your house. No tow truck is nessicary.

Here is a breakdown of parts..

Alot of the prices are in USD since that's where I bought most of the parts. It's hard to estimate but for average add %10 to the cost to covert to CAD dollars.

Originally paid $12,500 for the car

GReddy TD06 Single turbo kit ($3800) (this kit along with this engine should be more than capable of 400WHP)
GReddy external wastegate ^^
GReddy Manifold ^^
PFS Supercars SMIC $500
HKS BOV $200
Aeromotive FPR $210
NEW clutch master cyl $90
NEW clutch slave cyl $65
Banzai Racing Poly Engine Mounts $150
Banzai Racing Emissions Block off plated $65
NGK spark plug wires $65USD
Fujita Engineering Cone Filter $60 from Garage Five
Redline Transmission Fluid $90
Redline Diff Fluid $35
850cc x4 injectors $100 + $40 for cleaning all four (new filter, pintle caps etc)
Full "AN" Stainless braided fuel line approx $250 for all
Toyota Supra high flow fuel pump $210USD
Stainless Steel Oil Injector lines $130USD
OEM Thermoswitch/coolant level sensor/coolant temp sensors $150
Apexi PowerFC w/ commander $800USD
Innovate wideband $210USD
HKS Super dragger exhaust $250USD
GReddy airpump deletion $50
3'' midpipe $100
ACT HDSS Clutch $570USD
TEIN S-tech springs $200USD

Misc OEM seals/gaskets approx (intake manifold/exh mani/coolant housing/oil pan/UIM gasket/tbody elbow etc... things added up bigtime) $500-$700
Misc Nuts/bolts/hoses etc from places like Lordco/CanTire $150-$200

I also have some brand new OEM touch up paint.

So easily over $8500 in parts alone, not including the engine which was $1250 (didn't include it since it's blown and dosen't matter)

This is a great deal for someone who wants a small project and a 400WHP capable car. ALL the car needs is a shortblock and I would suggest a KOYO rad. I can GUARANTEE it that you will need nothing else to get the car back on the road.

With a new engine this single turbo kit is proven to be capable of 400WHP

NOTE** these following pics were before the TIEN springs.

$16,500
at this price you're basically getting ALL the parts I paid for at half cost. I am semi-open to OBO. That means a serious offer... AND YOU HAVE CASH IN HAND. I sell motorcycles for a living and hear the sob stories all day long. No lowballs. If I can't get the money I want out of it, I will buy another engine and do the work myself. It's jsut going to sit for a while if I have to do that since I am running low on $$ right now.

Missing elbow because it was easier to get to the plugs for the compression test.

The elbow is included.

open to serious offers

I can also lower the price to $15,200 if I take out the PowerFC the wideband and the SMIC ( you would get the stock one )

Pssst... part out and put in a V8!

Might also help to include the milage - for the other parts of the car (shocks, bushings etc). Regardless, best of luck with the sale!

chassis has 104k miles on it... everything engine/fuel etc related is new. has low KM R1 shocks (this is a Touring model) and Tein Springs. The intire suspension system was inspected when the car was imported and it passes with flying colors. I didn't do it, but from looking at it the swaybar bushings and endlicks look very new.

the rest I'm unsure of sicne it was going to be done by me anyways because i was going to track the car. no clunks/grinds... the tranny shifts perfect..

if there is somethign specific you want to know PM me.

just to note... I currently have the PowerFC, Wideband and SMIC listed for sale on the RX7 forums. If they sell, whatever I get for them I will adjust the price of the car that much.
