Coconut water where can i buy this locally? can only find milk...thanks! (prefably in richmond) |
Go buy some young coconuts and chop them open! I prefer to drill a hole and stick a straw in them. They're like $1 each here in HK, not sure how much they are over there. Any price would be worth it though, IMO. |

not sure where you can buy it.. but i know everyone who does bikrams drinks this.. its suppose to be really really good for you... to me.. juices are empty carbs.. lol ! i usually drink water with a slice of lemon in it.. haha |
T n' T, or even superstore (right by the entrance along with the shrimp chips) has them in a can. |
coconut juice. or young coconut juice. thats what its called but if u can get fresh ones, thats better. however most of what we get here have been frozen for transport. it just isnt the same compared to hk or somewhere tropical where the coconut came off the tree only hours ago |

Yeah it's Tasco Brand Coconut Juice and Young Coconut Juice, there is also roasted coconut juice all available at any asian supermarkets. |
Coconut juice in cans taste horrible. |

The fresh coconuts are between $2-4 in Vancouver -- depending on the market. I tend to buy them in Chinatown b/c they're fresher than the ones at Capers, etc. |

Juice directly from a fruit is not "empty". If calories are a concern, stick to berries. They are packed with nutrients and antioxidants compared to the calories they contain. Compared to things like pineapples and bananas, which are nutrition but contain loads of sugar. |
roasted coconut juice FTMW |

why do the packaged north american ones taste so bad. even the frozen ones they serve at Vietnamese places taste somewhat similar to a real one... makes me wonder if these ppl have tasted a real coconut before lol |
Read the ingredients to make sure they are 100% coconut water. A lot of them mix different shit into them as preservatives and stuff, but few don't. Shoppers Drug Mart sells small cans of 100% Water for 89 cents. |

Costco has it now from sunripe as the BBY sells it. Can't remember if it's a flavoured ones or not. |

The grocery store |
they taste different even if they're all 100% pure coconut water, because they're from different types and ages of coconuts. the one i like the most is from vita coco but its like $3 for 500ml at walmart in the states (dont see it often here) |
are we talking about the blue monkey hipster shit? |
I'm talking about these http://www.theselfhealingcoach.com/w...ng-coconut.jpg $2 at the grocery store :D |

Dunno that was just google'd I use a drill and a straw |
coconut juice from asian markets are very bad for you. most of them contain sodium nitrite as preservative. that chemical harms your digestive system and can cause colon cancer. the only canned coconut juice i drink is blue monkey and i buy them at whole foods. you can also buy the fresh young coconut juice that is already chopped and ready to poke a straw and drink at whole foods. they are about $3.86 each but really good and you can eat the coconut meat as well. |

Actually, I noticed the new PriceSmart in Richmond in the Asian drinks side has tetra-paks of 100% coconut water for $2.99 |
