does size matter...? I mean for pho

So today I had my pho fix (again) and it got me kinda thinking. Is there a difference in the quantity of noodles and meats for a regular or a large bowl? This is why I ask, I normally order a regular bowl and my friend orders a large bowl and when comparing, it seems the difference is bigger bowl more soup. So does it make sense to say my regular is more crammed with noodles and meat less soup due to the size of the bowl?

I want to know if the extra dollar to get the large bowl from regular gets me more noodles/meats or just soup? Maybe varies by diff pho joint?

It depends. Some places will use the same amount of noodles and beef whereas some other places will give you half a handful of extra noodles and maybe a few slices of beef.

In my experiences it depends where you go. Some places seem to have no consistency whatsoever in their portions and often the large and small seem the same except for the amount of soup and bowl size. While other places you can tell there is more noodles and obviously more meat.

you should be able to tell pretty easily if you've got both sizes at the table. if you can't, then you're probably just getting the extra soup.

You should just save the extra dollar and use it on a Namwich instead

I'm down with Ramen but love Pho and Taiwan Beef Noodle way more.

The one thing that pisses me off about Ramen is the chincy amount you get. I mean your paying like $10 for a bowl of noodles and you get like 2 or 3 pieces of small ass meat.

Haha you should try the BBQ Ramen at Kintaro then, its a couple of dollars more. But they pack way more meat.

Cheese ramen is pretty good! Gooey and thick but it doesn't disturb the overall ramen taste that much lol. I had it at kintaros
